Comments

With each day we get closer to Tasmania and bringing home the Davis wintering group. There is a pretty big swell and it is quite windy but thankfully the wind is behind us and even though the sea is rough we are having a reasonably smooth ride. It is quite deceptive when looking outside. It is quite different sailing into rough seas as opposed to sailing with them.

We had a snow shower today which was quite unexpected as the air and sea temperatures are gradually increasing with each passing day. Everyone is looking forward to seeing some sun. There was not too much for the Davis group during the season and on this voyage the only time it really came out was at Davis. Here is hoping that it is sunny on our arrival in Hobart.

Cheers Leanne and Mick
