Comments

It is Sunday and all is quiet on board. There is a big contrast between 97 expeditioners on board and 27. There is no queuing up for meals and at times you can walk through the ship without running into anyone. This is what occurs on the first voyage south each season as the ingoing winter and summer groups go to station and only the outgoing winter group comes home. It is the opposite for late season voyages: small number of expeditioners to station and more coming out after their summer.

Last night we started our return to Hobart time. We advanced our clocks by 1 hour – only 3 to go.

Cheers, Leanne and Mick
