Comments

We continue to travel through the ice today. Sometimes there is a lot of water, sometimes more ice than water – it is quite interesting transiting the different conditions.

There was a great snow shower this morning. I looked out my porthole and it was overcast but conditions were not too bad, a short time later I looked out and could not see anything but falling snow. The deck still has snow on it but it is gradually melting.

You can tell that we are getting closer to the ice edge as there is a small swell occurring that does not happen deeper in the ice.

Cheers Leanne and Mick
