Comments
Finally the seas calmed today although the sightings conditions remained challenging. We have now lost touch with the Antarctic blue whales but are hearing pygmy blue whales to our north.
The science team and crew continue to prepare for our arrival in Wellington by cleaning, packing, data crunching and report writing. There also a lot of effort going into a video and award night scheduled for tomorrow evening.
