Comments

Rough seas meant most onboard struggled to sleep well last night. There was little improvement throughout the day so again many stayed in their bunks.

Occasionally the seas would lessen and the visibility improve but there were no sightings of cetaceans and few birds – only the odd white-headed, white-chinned and grey petrels and royal albatrosses.

The acoustic team are still hearing blue whales but all are 500km south in the area we left a few days ago.
