After another afternoon of settling into the motion of the ship we all headed off to bed for a slightly better night's rest last night as the swell settled down a bit. The ship has kept us on our toes throughout the day with sneaky big rolls that seem to come out of nowhere but cause anything on a flat surface to take off out of reach. There have been a few white knuckle grips on tables as people try to avoid rolling off their chairs. The movie sessions and slide shows have continued to entertain us in between the inevitable report writing that goes with the end of a voyage, summer season or year away. We have commenced planning for our arrival into Hobart tomorrow night and there is a now an increased level of anticipation onboard as we prepare to spend our last night on the vessel.
Regards, Nicki and Mike
