Comments
The seas abated and the ride became more comfortable. This was particularly welcome for the team members who joined us at Davis who have yet to get their sea legs and are working hard to assist in preparations for our return to Davis.
We are now heading south through pack ice we travelled north in only a few days ago. The ice is noticeably thicker and more snow coverage is present. The temperature is now 5 degrees colder.
The seasonal changes are very obvious as the continent cools and winter approaches...
Cheers,
Andy and Simon
