At about 02:30 this morning we received a call asking us to return to Davis station to retrieve an expeditioner who is in a serious but stable condition after becoming ill in the past 24 hours.
At the time we were in heavy seas and gales force winds. We turned around and are now on our way back to Davis to retrieve the expeditioner and take on some extra fuel to get back to Hobart.
