        Comments
Yesterday we completed two very successful demersal trawls.
The catch included a baby octopus and eggs inside a perfectly intact glass preserving jar! Even 800m below the surface, at the bottom of the ocean, more than 2000 miles from the nearest town or city, humankind leaves its mark!
We will attempt one demersal trawl this afternoon after which the weather is forecast to deteriorate for the next couple of days.
Tonight we will advance the clocks one hour to bring us closer to Davis time of UTC +7.
Cheers,
Andy and Simon
