Comments

Yesterday we had our first successful demersal trawl. It was quite exciting to see all of the creatures from the ocean floor which included various sponges, fish and other strange squiggly and squidgy beasts (apologies to all the marine scientists out there for my poor taxonomic expression!).

After the demersal we raced back up the final transect of the Mawson box completing a few more target and routine RMT trawls.

We are now about to commence another couple of demersal trawls before beginning the Monolith transect box.

Cheers,

Andy and Simon
