The final cargo was transferred to the ship and the jet barge loaded.
The winds dropped away and swung around more to the east pushing a few larger bergy bits and growlers into the harbour. A combination of the IRBs (Inflatable Rubber Boats) and the ships FRC (Fast Response Craft) were used to push them clear of the mooring lines and harbour mouth.
This morning all of the departing passengers transferred to the ship by IRB before smoko.
We are now waiting for the wind to drop a bit before casting lines and sailing out through Ice Berg Alley.
Cheers,
Andy and Simon
