Comments

With the risk of ice conditions changing we completed a final CTD early afternoon yesterday before making a run back east to the Dalton Polynya arriving there just before midnight. After a CTD was completed in the early hours of the morning in the polynya we then travelled to the M2 mooring location just in the pack ice on the western side of the polynya. This mooring was retrieved successfully by 0830 this morning after some more great “circle work” by the ship and another great effort from the science team and P&O crew.

With a strong lead showing on the latest satellite ice image we have since then been making our way to the mooring T1 location with the intent to retrieve it this afternoon.

Cheers

Tony & Lloyd
