Yesterday we commenced our path eastwards along the tongue of the glacier performing CTD sampling at approximately 5 nm intervals. In the last 24 hours 9 CTD’s have been performed.
On this first section of our return to the Dalton Polynya we have noticed there has been significant movement in the ice from when we travelled this way yesterday. Something to be wary of.
