Cargo operations continued yesterday afternoon however the refuelling operation which commenced early yesterday morning was suspended at 1330 yesterday due to a weather forecast indicating high winds. The hose was promptly retrieved with 300,000 litres delivered to the station fuel farm some 550,000 short of our target. We will seek another weather window to complete the refuelling over the next day or so.
This morning we recommenced normal ship to shore cargo operations with some 90 pallets of dry mix concrete to be delivered to the station. We expect to have all cargo discharged by early afternoon and then the remaining RTA (Return to Australia) cargo will be brought to the ship.
The completion of refuelling remains a frustration due to the unpredictability of the weather we are experiencing here at Casey.
Cheers Tony & Lloyd
