Resupply continued all day yesterday however this morning winds up to 30 knots delayed us commencing cargo operations and the deployment of the refuelling hose which was planned to commence at 0600hr. The winds abated mid-morning and we commenced cargo operations at 0900 emptying the remainder of cargo which was located on the heli-deck. Yesterday afternoon after emptying of lower hold No1 we filled it back up with cargo to be returned to Australia and closed it up.
Deployment of the fuel hose is to be considered this afternoon if conditions have sufficiently improved and we are comfortable of at least a 40 hour window of good weather conditions.
This morning we experienced some interesting localised weather conditions with a “hydraulic jump” occurring at the Casey skiway threatening high intermittent winds. This sitrep is not of sufficient length to explain the nature or complexities of a “hydraulic jump” but it is thoroughly recommended to google enthusiasts to explore.

Cheers Tony & Lloyd
