Comments

We stayed out at sea overnight and came into Casey this morning with the weather turning to perfect for resupply with light winds. After redeployment of the Jet Barge we commenced sending cargo to shore. With a unchanging forecast for the afternoon we will continue cargo operations until 2000hrs. It is anticipated that we will deliver the heaviest of loads this afternoon including a 29 tonne excavator a 25 tonne loader and a 12 tonne truck.
We took the opportunity whilst the weather was good to send personnel to shore on the inflatable rubber boats (IRB’s). Many have science projects to progress whilst they are on station
There is a positive feeling on board as today’s weather forecast initially indicated that conditions may have been marginal for cargo operations. We have in fact been dealt a perfect day for it.
Cheers Tony & Lloyd
