Cargo completed 1400 yesterday! A truly fantastic effort by all concerned, both on the ship and shore, and on the ice too. As station handover continued at Davis, the ship tidied up, in readiness for a departure today. Last night a group of us from the ship wandered to the top of nearby Anchorage Island, to enjoy the view, and indulge in a bit of post-resupply Antarctic reflection. We really are very privileged to work here. We are currently making preparations to get underway by 1400 (if the Davis winterers who are on our list to come home with us can tear themselves away from the place!).

All the best, Doug and Dave
