Comments

We moved 49 people ashore yesterday afternoon, and a limited amount of cargo in a 5 hour operation, and then set about the task of backing and ramming the ship through the 10 km of fast-ice to attain our anchorage position. We made excellent progress overnight, averaging about 1 mile every 3 hours. We should be “parked” later this afternoon, with the expectation that cargo operations will be able to commence in earnest tomorrow.

All the best, Doug and Dave
