The vessel pitches and rolls moderately in a quartering swell. Awoke to a light dusting of snow covering the ship, and regular snow showers in the morning have added to that. Winds were a constant 30 knots for much of the morning, and our regular Saturday muster drill was held indoors for a change. The CPR came onboard for the last time this voyage, as it and ice do not go together well. A final bout of field training today, and then: King Neptune is rumoured to be visiting the ship, which is always reason enough for a special occasion…
All the best, Doug and Dave
