Comments
The first iceberg of the trip was spotted last night, passing abeam the ship at 21:16 hours local. Thus endeth the iceberg sweep! Since then: not much. A bergy bit or three, and another ‘berg not too long ago. However, the seas have calmed right down, which is great, and there’s an air of anticipation that we can’t be far from the edge of the pack ice. Field training continues.
All the best, Doug and Dave
