Firstly let’s start by saying thank you and well done to all onboard who donated some cash to cancer research at yesterday’s Biggest Morning Tea. The team on the AA managed to raise over $1,800 dollars which is a great result.
We continue to make good speed through the Southern Ocean, although we have been running into a head wind since yesterday evening which is meaning we are not covering as much ground as we did previously. The weather patterns that are around us at the moment are causing Team Met some bother as they are not easy ones to predict in relation to what they will/should do. All the indications are though that things will pick up over night and we might be waking up to a decent size swell rolling into the ship. Then again, by late this afternoon that may change again.
Otherwise people are still beavering away at the usual array of paperwork that needs to be done before we return, as well as starting to think about all the things we need to pack up on the ship later in the week.
Cheers,
Deepy and Brett
