The long transit continues, but we are still making good time thanks to the relatively calm conditions we are experiencing. We are still monitoring a low pressure system that may cause conditions to worsen, but hopefully it will play the game and stay well out of our way. If this occurs we may be able to have a relatively calm transit for the remainder of the week... fingers crossed!
The Krill are happy and well and seem to be enjoying the conditions in the aquarium onboard.
This morning we joined in with a lot of other workplaces around the country and participated in “Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea”. This event is held nationally to raise much needed funds for Cancer Research in Australia. The Team in the galley did a fantastic job, as they always do, of providing an amazing spread of goodies for us to enjoy and all onboard wandered down to enjoy the spread on offer, once a donation had been made of course.
We are still seeing the odd iceberg, some quite large, which is a nice final reminder of where we have been given we’ll be seeing them less and less as the week goes on.
Cheers,
Deepy and Brett
