Comments

We continue to make very good progress on our transit back to Hobart although today is a little more bumpy than it has been as we smash into the swell. These conditions should improve somewhat for us though overnight as the winds change direction which will result in wind and swell be behind us. There has been a marked increase in the air temperature as we progress towards Hobart too, with temperature rising 23.2 degrees since Monday. We are now have an air temperature of only -1.8, and water temperatures have climbed into positive figures for the first time in quite a while for us. Guessing it won’t be long before we can drop the negative sign from our air temperature as well.

We held an emergency muster this morning and it was nice to get out into the fresh air for a while, even if it was a tad bumpy and we got a bit wet due to the sea spray.

Kids in the Krill aquarium are still playing nicely.

Cheers,
Deepy and Brett
