We'll all sleep well tonight after finishing our refuelling operation - that's another big tick on our resupply jobs list. Our day started in Buckles Bay at 0700 with a beautiful sunrise off our port side. We quickly had personnel on deck setting up and our IRB teams in the water to start positioning our fuel hose. Under the watchful eye of our super skilled refuelling supervisor the team jumped into action and had everything set up with fuel flowing to station around morning tea time. The operation went smoothly and fuel pumping was ceased when the station tanks were full at 2pm. We then spent a few hours packing up and had boats off the water this evening in time for a hot shower and a well earned break before dinner.

The ship is currently still at anchor in the bay but will soon move off again to transit up and down the coast of the island overnight. We have done this each night to ensure that we are not at anchor and away from the island if the weather and sea conditions change rapidly. This means that we get to enjoy the pleasure of sailing into the beautiful anchorage each morning for at least another few days this trip.

Cheers, Nicki & Sharon
