Comments

Today the ship continues on towards Hobart with many of those onboard
choosing to ride out the moderate swell in their cabins.

Members of the voyage and Davis station management teams remain busy
finalising reports and completing stock lists whilst group meetings
continue for the ingoing Mawson team.

This evening at 2000hs, we expect to be both retrieving and deploying
the Continuous Plankton Recorder (CPR). The CPR has been used on almost
every voyage since 1991 to collect and monitor zooplankton as the ship
travels between Antarctica and Australia.

Regular Yoga, Pilates and Zumba classes are now underway as is a darts
competition. Also commencing today is the newest installment of an AA
tradition, a friendly game of 'Assassin'. Requiring no small degree of
stealth and cunning and armed only with a piece of paper bearing their
targets name, each player must silence their target (by way of a
friendly tap on the shoulder) whilst avoiding their own unknown would-be
assassin, but only within the ship's internal spaces and only when their
target is alone and off duty. Stay tuned for updates.

Cheers,

Andy, Brett, Dave and James
