Comments

The Aurora Australis remains anchored approximately half a
nautical mile, (1.2 kilometres), from shore in around 15 metres
of water.

Barge and helicopter operations have been suspended due to weather.
Conditions permitting, a departure from Davis is planned for later this
evening or tomorrow.

Yesterday evening the ship welcomed the 43 outgoing Davis expeditioners
now on the return leg of their season. Old acquaintances were restored
and new ones quickly introduced over a hearty Sunday roast dinner.

This morning, further planning sessions were held between the voyage
management, senior crew and AAD headquarters to determine future
actions. A muster was conducted for expeditioners on the heli-deck to
familiarise all with current emergency procedures. No additional
trainings or seminars are scheduled for the day, leaving the majority of
personnel aboard to enjoy a well earned period of rest.

Cheers, Andy, Brett, Dave and James.
