Comments

Cargo operations undertaken yesterday went smoothly allowing time for a
number of expeditioners to be ferried ashore in the barge for a brief
look around station which was enjoyed by all.

The helicopter providing Search and Rescue (SAR) for the station based
helicopter’s afternoon operations was de-bladed and returned to the
hangar and the barge craned aboard all before dinner was served.

Today some of the cargo on board has been repositioned to facilitate a
possible fly-off resupply of Mawson station in case it eventuates that
this is the best way to provide the supplies and fuel required.

Davis expeditioners returning to Australia (RTA) patiently remain
waiting instruction to board the vessel.

On behalf of all expeditioners with loved ones back home – happy
Valentine’s Day!

Cheers, Andy, Brett, Dave and James.
