Comments

The passage through the ice yesterday went well and subsequently we
arrived earlier than expected at Davis anchorage. The jet barge Peter
Gormley was put in the water and cargo operations commenced.

The friendly Davis Station Leader has kindly offered the passengers and
crew the opportunity to visit Davis station for the afternoon leaving
the vessel seeming quite and empty.

One of the two helicopters onboard has been rolled out and the blades
attached to provide Search and Rescue (SAR) cover for the station based
helicopter which is about to perform 60-90 minutes of flights in the
area including a reconnaissance flight for the incoming Station Leader.

Cheers, Andy, Brett, Dave and James.
