Comments

We continued our progress through the pack ice yesterday but it was extremely slow. We ceased at 2200hrs however the south westerly drift during the night eroded some of the progress we had made during the day.
This morning the visibility is very limited so the ship has been in a holding position awaiting a change in the weather so that travel can be resumed. Ships clocks were put forward one hour last night.
This morning Minke whales were spotted frolicking in the open lead behind the ship which provided great photo opportunities for those on board.
