Comments

Yesterday afternoon there was some easing of the ice and we resumed our progress through the ice floes until approximately 2200 where again the ship was put in a holding position. We resumed again at 0500 this morning and are still making slow progress through the ice. The ice imagery received is showing that we can expect slow progress for the next 50 nautical miles to our next waypoint.
This morning we conducted an emergency drill on the heli-deck for all expeditioner s and crew.
Ships clocks are to be put forward one hour tonight making ship time UTC + 8 or 3 hours behind Hobart time.

Cheers Tony and Mike
