Comments

Overnight was quite rough, however we awoke this morning to a pause of slightly better weather, which persisted throughout the day, and included several rare hours of sunshine of which we haven't seen much of late! All good things must come to an end, and as I write we have gusty winds on the bow which are causing the sea to get quite rough. As we make our way into the weather (or "to weather" as the old salts say) we are also being buffeted by blizzards which reduce the visibility to pretty much zero. As you would expect, although while the visual observation and acoustics teams have been doing their thing throughout the day, there has not been much to report.

Otherwise, all is well onboard, with everyone taking the opportunity to get started on their pre-arrival preparations.

Regards Chris, Margaret, and the VWhales Team
