Comments

Our change of strategy yesterday has us in the open section of the pack ice seeking vocalizing blue whales, however navigating the maze of ice makes catching the whales we are tracking a challenging process. We are now making our way back out of the pack so that we can steam in clear water overnight. We will continue the process of tracking these whales until we can meet them in open water.

The other newsworthy item is that we have now gone above 66 degrees 40 minutes latitude, and so we are officially in the Antarctic circle.

Until Tomorrow,

Regards Chris, Margaret, and the VWhales
