Comments

Hobart, that’s where we’re heading!

We finally got out of the heavy pack overnight and have been travelling
at good speed through the MIZ (Marginal Ice Zone) all morning.

There were no opportunities to perform any final science on the way
through the MIZ as we are trying to get north and sail between two lows
tracking west across the southern ocean to the north, and can't afford
to slow down at this point.

We will celebrate the last of the ice with a BBQ on the trawl deck.

Cheers

Andy, Brett
