Comments
We are making steady but slow progress to the north west. At least we
are no longer moving south! The pack is still very heavy and still
carries up to half a metre or more of snow cover. There are more areas
of open water and the pack is less tightly packed together. we are
expecting conditions to steadily improve as we gain more ground to the
north and west.
