It’s a glorious day to be at sea with the sun out, a following sea with the occasional white cap. This morning we passed through the Antarctic Zone of Convergence and with it came the significant rise in sea temperature.
Last night the presentations continued on board with Febes giving us the good oil on the data and management of whale stranding’s around Tasmania. We only have 3 more nights now for this educational process. We thought we knew plenty when we embarked on this ship but we will disembark far better educated!! Thanks to all who have contributed so far and to Adrienne for mustering the presenters.
Planning for pre-arrival and arrival at Hobart is in full swing and activities will commence tomorrow. The excitement is building.
Cheers
Tony and Simon
