Comments

We made really good progress over the last 24 hours with speeds over 15.5 knots being sustained. We advanced the ships clock by one hour early this morning and we are now 5 hours behind Hobart time.

The seas have subsided somewhat and it is more comfortable moving around the ship. It would be a blessing if they remained like this for the rest of the voyage.

The presentations continued last night with Phil explaining the geology of the Vestfold Hills close to Davis Station, it was enjoyed by all. Tonight the entertainment committee has planned a special evening which just happens to coincide with St Valentine’s Day.

All on board are well and counting the days back to Hobart.

Cheers

Tony and Simon
