Comments

We continue to make good progress on a calm sea. The smooth conditions make it easy for everyone to move around the ship

There are a number of Science projects to be being carried out whilst at sea. There is a continuous hydrographical survey of the sea bed being carried out for the whole length of our voyage this was initiated when we left Hobart. There is also a number of buoy and mooring deployments to be carried at pre-determined coordinates, more of that as they eventuate. We will also be collecting Krill samples before Davis and between Davis and Mawson for research at the Australian Antarctic Division Krill Laboratory in Kingston.

Planning for the Davis Resupply continues with cargo deployment and refuelling details being firmed up.

Cheers

Tony and Simon
