Last night we enjoyed a really pleasant evening with a Trawl Deck BBQ as we steamed through the northerly edge of the pack ice. Although it was very cool out, everyone enjoyed the great meal and a few drinks together.
As we departed the ice, the wind came around to the North East and has been blowing at 30 knots for most of the day. As a result the ride has been a bit uncomfortable as we bash our way into the swell and weather. It has been a pretty quiet day onboard, with most taking the opportunity to get their heads down for a well-earned sleep, read or watch DVDs. The forecast shows the weather moderating later this evening and into tomorrow.
Until tomorrow,
Regards Chris, Leanne, and the V2 Team
