Comments

The temperature continues to rise and we are back in the double figure positives now, a sign that we are not too far away from Hobart. Expeditioners are helping give some of the internal spaces round the ship a clean at the moment to ensure the ship is tip top shape for the next voyage. AAD issued Antarctic clothing will be collected later this afternoon and cabin cleaning continues in earnest, ready for inspections tomorrow morning.

We'll make a final clock change tonight as well, advancing the clocks one more hour which will then have us back in line with Hobart. We remain on schedule for an arrival of 1400hrs alongside Selfs Point on Friday 14 December 2102.

As this will be the final SITREP for the voyage I'd like to once again thank everyone on board, or now based at Davis, Mawson and Mirny, for making it a very enjoyable and successful voyage. We achieved everything we set out to achieve and had a fair bit of fun along the long way, can't ask for much more than that!

Cheers,

Andrew and Mark
