Comments

Our progress through the ice has been uneventful and we are now mostly transiting through large areas of open water with the odd small bands of sea ice in between. For most of yesterday we were transiting through large areas of ice, and with clear and sunny skies along with plenty of wildlife around it was a lovely day to be up on the Bridge or on deck enjoying the view. We also held an emergency safety muster yesterday.

For most passengers, today is a relatively quiet one, with most catching up on some rest, relaxing in the lounge area or working on the numerous reports one has to provide upon our return. As I look at the clock however and remind myself that it is approaching lunchtime, it does remind me that I haven't let you all know what a magnificent job our Galley and Stewards have been doing on this voyage.

Three times a day, 7 days a week, no matter the conditions, we are fed some of the best meals you'll find on the planet. The mains are sensational and the deserts are amazing. Like the cooks, the stewards are constantly working around the vessel attending to the million and one things that sometimes go un-noticed, but are very much greatly appreciated. So to our team of stewards and cooks we say thank you, you do an incredible job and my waistline especially is appreciating your efforts!

Cheers,

Andrew and Mark
