Comments
We've gone from hot and windy yesterday to cold and windy today (but they do say a change is as good as a holiday). Alas, the front that has rolled in will probably have us in port until the weekend at least.
For now, the science team is tucked away onboard the Eastern Voyager, working away on such things as geospatial data for the voyage or blue whale photo-ID; we've even got people writing a paper about the Shepherd's beaked whales sighted on the previous blue whale voyage in January. So, the wait in port is frustrating, but it's also productive.
