Normal sailing the last 24 hours.
Sea conditions have built up overnight, with strong winds and a heavy swell again making life interesting for those aboard. We have had to increase speed to try to reduce the rolling.
Clearly King Neptune was unimpressed with the Voyage Leader's denial of the existence of the Easter Bunny, visiting today to greet all expeditioners new to the southern ocean. It was a simple ceremony in which those crossing 60 degrees south were invited to pay homage to the King.
AAD Kingston are in touch with expeditioners on their return arrangements now that the weekend's arrival plan has been finalised, with Aurora expected to draw alongside MacQuarie wharf in Hobart around 7am on Saturday the 14th April 2012.
