Normal sailing the last 24 hours.

Aurora continues to make good headway on our return journey to Hobart, with expeditioners and crew enjoying reasonable weather & sea conditions, a welcome environment for those prone to sea-sickness !!

Sea-mist and passing drizzle from a Low to the ship's South has reduced visibility for the bird-nuts aboard hoping to spy a few Albatross and their Southern-ocean cousins, but it has at least afforded them an opportunity instead to flick through the Limited-edition copy of a commemorative book on Aurora Australis'
service over the past twenty years. The book has been purchased by the ship's crew to be raffled prior to our arrival into Hobart, the proceeds of which will to be donated to Camp Quality. Dig deep !!

Voyage Management will liaise with the AAD's head office in Kingston to coordinate the ship's arrival plan by mid-week, which they will circulate to expeditioners & their families once finalised.
