Comments
Normal sailing the past 24hrs. The fourth Continuous Plankton Recorder was retrieved and replaced around 8pm local (Ship) time yesterday evening. Pending sea & ice conditions, a further (sixth) unit may be deployed prior to arrival at Davis. Environmental briefings and kit-cleaning will be conducted around 1pm local (Ship) time today for those expeditioners and crew heading ashore at Davis (including the incoming Station Leader for Mawson, Mr Bob Jones). Tonight we retard clocks (to UTC+7) for the last time before arriving at Davis. Cheers Andy, Leanne and Mark
