Comments

Aurora has retarded clocks by a further hour overnight. The ship will observe one further time zone change prior to arrival at Davis station.

Normal sailing the past 24hrs, sea conditions are again improving after some larger swells yesterday evening.

The fourth Continuous Plankton Recorder will be retrieved and replaced around 8pm local (Ship) time this evening, with the fifth recording unit expected to be the last deployed for this voyage.

Aurora conducted an emergency muster drill around 10.30am local
(Ship) time this morning with expeditioners and crew attending in their cold weather protective clothing. After all passengers and crew were accounted for and a brief fire-fighting exercise was completed, normal duties were resumed.

Cheers

Andy, Leanne and Mark
