Comments

Normal sailing the past 24hrs, the heavier seas and inclement weather currently being experienced are expected to diminish over the next day or so. This will be a welcome change for those aboard presently drinking only half-mugs of coffee as a tactic to reduce the incidence of spills, and the subsequent caffeine withdrawal accompanying such losses.

Aurora expects to slowly increase speed over the next 200-230 miles as sea conditions improve from 'cantankerous carpet' to 'moody marshmallow'.

It is expected that the third Continuous Plankton Recorder will be retrieved in the morning watch tomorrow pending safe conditions for retrieval.

Cheers

Andy, Leanne and Mark
