Comments

Another slow day on the track with most expeditioners choosing to relax and read or watch DVDs as the ship continues on her passage to Hobart. The dessert bar continues to claim is victims with most people claiming to have put on 1-2 kilos over the voyage. Given the number of personnel onboard that equates to about one additional expeditioner of weight gained this voyage thanks to the P&O catering staff. Voyage Management (well Sharon at least!) is busy plugging away at all the cargo paperwork, making sure the stow plan, manifests, quarantine permits, sample locations in various fridges and freezers around the ship (-80C, -20C, +4C), dangerous goods multimodals, unaccompanied personal effect declarations, and all the other myriad essential bits of paperwork are in order for a smooth arrival and clearance through customs, immigration and quarantine on our return.

Andy, Sharon and Chris
