Comments

So far it has been a very pleasant passage more reminiscent of the Pacific rather than the Southern Ocean. The ship is making good speed in the calm conditions and all are enjoying a relaxed atmosphere and some awesome food! The team have been busy getting the early organisation in place for the Mawson resupply mission with a number of planning meetings taking place today. Once a detailed preparation program has been produced, there will be a large number of group and section briefs to be given, and section planning meetings to occur. In addition, the cargo discharge plan is being developed with the ship's crew and the Voyage Management Team. Last night we retarded clocks one hour so we are now four hours behind eastern daylight (Hobart) time.

Regards

Andy, Sharon and Chris
