Comments

We set sail yesterday around 3pm. Many thanks to P&O, the AAD cargo and shipping teams and to all the great folk in Fremantle who have assisted us in our stay and departure. It's great to be at sea, heading for Mawson station. The slight seas are a great introduction to the southern ocean for those who have not been onboard before. Tonight we start retarding the ships clocks to bring us in line with Mawson, so we even get an extra hour in bed! Final departure briefings were finished yesterday and a muster and safety drill held today, which went very smoothly. It is now time to start planning for our arrival...

Cheers

Andy, Sharon and Chris
