Comments

The swell increased late yesterday, as forecast, and we had to stop operations at about 0100 local time. The swell peaked at about 6-7 m and frequent strong wind squalls passed over us through the early hours. So we spent the night steaming slowly 20 nm into the wind and back, waiting for things to improve. In fact, the swell has dropped a bit faster than we expected, and we are now working again after a 12 hour interruption. The weather and sea conditions look good for the rest of the voyage, so we should have a decent run to the end of the transect.

Regards, Steve and Barbara
